Positives
2D Amazement
Vanillaware's trademark artstyle is still the most alluring form of animation there is in videogames. It's like moving paintings and it's so pretty. Fantastic remaster of the original PS2 classic.
Intertwining stories
Most games that have multiple branches and paths and the like end up losing their focus on the actual story going on, but Odin Sphere is different. Each part of the overarching story will have you play as a differen't character who's fates are intertwined with one another. You in-turn, get a fresh new moves and fresh faces after each chapter so things stay entertaining. The fate of the world is at stake
Remaster Done Right
Added to this wonderful remaster, characters have gotten new moves, gameplay is smoother than ever core elements have been made even better. There's new enemies, skills, items, food, mid-bosses. Native 1080p for crisper visuals, a Boss Rush mode and even the original version is packed in there as well. Lots of love was put in here.

Negatives
Playing Through the Same Stages
In each story, each character goes through almost all the same stages as the others. They are varied a bit a changed up a litle but they are essentially the same.
